Nusszopf
After experimenting with different recipes without a satisfying result, I came up with my own recipe, which is mainly inspired by a recipe for pretzels :)
Ingredients
Dough
500 g |
Flour |
20 g |
Yeast |
10 g |
Salt |

Oil |
0.25 l |

Filling
50 g |
Sugar |
75 g |
Ground Hazelnut |
100 g |
Chopped Walnut |
75 g |
Chopped Almond |

Apricot Jam |

Rum |

Cooking
- Form dough from ingredients listed above.
- Put dough aside for 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Mix ingredients for the filling.
- Roll out the dough and apply the filling.
- Roll up the dough and cut it along the long side.
- Braid the two halfes and put them into a greased baking pan.
- Put into oven at 200°C for 20 minutes.
